Lemonade Stand Party Printables

Lemonade is one of my favorite childhood refreshments other than Sunny Delight. (It was an addiction.) Anticipating this summer, we thought it fun to create printable play props + signs for an easy but playfully coordinated lemonade stand party. While we look forward to setting up shop in our front-yard and creating an event for our friends and community in the near future, in light of Covid-19, we decided to invite a few of our best buddies over for a backyard play-date. The HaneyHIVE is always up for fun, and Andrea created these adorable printables. They truly turned out perfect for our little gathering, and we enjoy knowing other mama's and kindred friends will enjoy them on a hot summer day of play as well.
Prep + Planning:
Besides the sun-kissed cuties, making lemonade, and printing printables, I only added fresh lemons, fun straws + a package of bright party puffs, and a chalkboard sign from Target for a little whimsy. (The yellow puff was actually a pineapple, but I cut it round to make a lemon. I know, I might be a genius.) Otherwise our printables + a bowl full of lemons is all you would need for simple party decor. As far as budget, our lemonade ingredients, Target finds, + printables fell under $20. I already had the bee hive drink dispenser and vintage style milk bottles, which you can still find on amazon.
Sweet Ideas:
It truly made a special afternoon for these lil’ friends, moms included, but these printables don't have to be party exclusive. Print them off and let your children set up shop for you and one another. An interactive activity like this can be hours of play! If you are not particularly excited about a potential sticky mess, give them a pitcher full of water for pretend play and promise lemonade at snack time. We often laminate printables to give them some durability; these we store in our play-kitchen area for extended use through the summer.
Other Sweet ideas:
- Host a fundraising lemonade stand with a service + goal in mind.
- Send our recipe + printables via email to friends and host a virtual shindig.
- Create a gift basket for friends, and drop it on their door-step.
- Mail printables + lemonade ingredients in a surprise package to friends. *Note: Sugar and lemons ship well, but let friends add the water. ;)
- Host a fair inspired lemonade contest with a blue ribbon winner!
- Freeze lemonade pops, and turn your lemonade stand into a popsicle stand!
- Create relays or minute-to-win-it games that include lemons, ice, cups, etc. to add fun even more fun to your event.
