About HIVEhome Market
THIS ENDEAVOR IS TRULY A LABOR OF LOVE, LIVING-POETRY, HOPE, AND DESIGN. LET ME EXPLAIN...
Some of my earliest childhood memories consist of setting up shop in my grandparents’ back room and selling handmade items to family & friends that would oblige my enthusiasm. My uncle Danny was my best client. Needless to say, the entrepreneur bug hit me early, and I needed no excuse to spend my time creating.
What I create is part of me, and I want to share it, be known by it, and more importantly inspire others to do the same. (More on that here.) The relationship between the creation and the maker is important to me. This thought and process has evolved through the years in ways I would never have imagined but am abundantly grateful.
One of which, is the desire to create something that was not only beautiful but served a purpose, a purpose bigger and greater than my design. Within this, HIVEhope was established. It is our desire to give voice, aid, and advocacy to those without voice and in need, with each and every purchase. A portion of every purchase is allotted to our HIVEhope initiative and a life changed one neighbor, one relationship, one hope at a time.
With that said, if you see something in my store, it is because I value it, but more so, because I value the ones these purchases affect most - the makers and the recipients of our HIVEhope initiatives - my neighbors. I see them in their craft. Whether it be their process, their design, or their vision as a whole, I see them and want to know more. And then, I want to share their story.
In essence, this is how I view HIVEhome. Therefore, whether you are a customer, a maker, a competitor, neighbor, or new acquaintance, you are welcome to stay. Look around, tell me what you think, and let me know a bit of your story. I look forward to getting to know you, and if you find something that inspires you here, please share.
